The project of the Digital Archiving Analyst at Exquando is to establish the processes and systems for managing the archiving of physical and electronic records, information and data created or received that have a long-term retention obligations according to company policy and potential value for secondary reuse, and must be preserved and accessible for their entire lifespan. It also includes the deletion/destruction process at the end of the lifespan. The 2-to-3 year project concerns 12 million documents and will impact around 15,000 people in the organization.
The mission of the Digital archiving analyst is to:
· Analyze the current archiving situation (As Is)
· List the requirements for 4 different entities present across the globe
· Translate these requirements into a transversal archiving process for all
· Make a gap analysis between the As Is and the To Be of this process
This position, based in Belgium, requires the following skills:
· Several years of experience in a similar project, preferably in the industrial sector
· Good understanding of archiving processes
· Sound project management skills with a capacity to think out of the box, identify issues in good time and offer practical solutions
· Very good communicator, able to easily connect with the right people at all levels of the organization
· Proficient in English, knowledge of French is a plus
· Good team spirit, open-minded and flexible
